Job Details:

We are on the hunt for a dynamic and innovative Permanent Bulk Material Handling Product Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-tech manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and enhancement of our bulk material handling products. This position reports directly to the Director of Engineering and plays a critical role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our products.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement innovative solutions for bulk material handling equipment, including conveyors, feeders, hoppers, and other related equipment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand customer needs and translate them into product requirements.
• Lead the design and prototyping process, ensuring all products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and performance.
• Conduct detailed analyses of material flow, including the study of particle characteristics, to optimize product performance.
• Monitor and evaluate product performance, conducting root cause analyses and implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, technologies, and standards related to bulk material handling, and incorporate relevant innovations into product designs.
• Provide technical support to the sales and customer service teams, assisting with product specifications, troubleshooting, and training as needed.
• Participate in safety audits and reviews, ensuring all products comply with relevant industry regulations and standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in bulk material handling product engineering, or a related role.
• Demonstrated expertise in bulk material handling, including knowledge of material properties, flow dynamics, and equipment design.
• Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• A proactive approach, with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and take the initiative to implement changes.
