We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Director to join our Medical industry team. This role is geared towards a strategic, results-oriented individual with a proven track record in business development and sales. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, developing, and nurturing business opportunities, driving sales growth, and contributing to our company's overall business strategy. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Real World Data, Real World Evidence, and experience in developing sales channels, prospecting, and lead generation.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy that aligns with the company's overall goals and objectives.
2. Identify new business opportunities and potential clients in the medical industry by leveraging Real World Data and Real World Evidence.
3. Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and potential partners.
4. Manage and oversee the sales process, including prospecting, lead generation, proposal development, and contract negotiations.
5. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective sales materials and presentations.
6. Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and key issues.
7. Provide regular reports on business development activities and sales performance to senior management.
8. Achieve or exceed sales targets and other key performance indicators.
9. Participate in industry events and conferences to network and promote the company's products and services.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 10 years' experience in a Business Development Director role, preferably in the medical industry.
2. Proven track record of successful business development and sales, with a focus on meeting or exceeding targets.
3. Strong knowledge of Real World Data, Real World Evidence, and how to leverage these in a business development context.
4. Excellent prospecting and lead generation skills.
5. Ability to develop and implement effective business development strategies.
6. Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
7. Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and potential partners.
8. Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
9. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification would be an advantage.
10. Willingness to travel as required.
