Our Business, Finance & Tax Team represents clients in various aspects of corporate, securities, real estate, financing, technology, aviation, wealth preservation, and tax matters.

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our Business, Finance & Tax Team.

The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive administrative and legal support to our attorneys, ensuring the efficient operation of the practice group.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist attorneys with the preparation, review, and filing of legal documents related to business finance and tax matters.
  • Conduct legal research and gather relevant information to support case preparation.
  • Maintain and organize client files, ensuring all documents are up-to-date and easily accessible.
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and court appearances.
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties to facilitate case progress.
  • Prepare and proofread correspondence, memos, and other legal documents.
  • Manage billing and timekeeping for assigned attorneys.
  • Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree or higher in Legal Studies, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a legal assistant, preferably in business finance and tax law.
  • Strong understanding of legal terminology and procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
