Our company is seeking a seasoned and strategic leader to join our team as a Chief Financial Officer. This is a unique opportunity to shape the financial future of our growing organization by leading our financial and accounting operations. The CFO will play a critical role in providing strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization. This position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior management role ideally with both external audit and in-house financial management experience gained in a high-growth organization.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement the company’s financial strategy, contributing to the overall direction of the business.
2. Oversee all fiscal and fiduciary responsibilities for the organization, in conjunction with the board of directors and the finance committee.
3. Lead long-term budgetary planning and cost management in alignment with the company's strategic plan.
4. Ensure that finance staff maintains financial record systems in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, and monitor the use of all funds.
5. Oversee the preparation and approval of all financial reporting materials and metrics for funding organizations and the board of directors.
6. Prepare and communicate monthly and annual financial statements.
7. Coordinate and lead the annual audit process, liaise with external auditors and the finance committee of the board of directors.
8. Manage and track the performance of invested assets in keeping with policies and investment guidelines.
9. Leverage strengths of the current finance team members, help to clarify roles and responsibilities, and develop and implement training programs in order to maximize and reach optimal individual and organizational goals.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 5+ years executive leadership experience
  • 10+ years finance/accounting experience
  • Multi-unit experience
  • Strong forecasting & budgeting skills
  • Financial modeling
  • Ability to lead, grow, and develop a team
  • Strong ERP knowledge

Preferred Qualifications:
  • CPA
  • MBA
  • Subscription / membership revenue experience
