We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Permanent Civil Design Engineer to join our dynamic Engineering team. As a Civil Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing complex civil engineering projects. This includes underground utility designs, site designs, campus central utilities, erosion, sediment, and stormwater management. Responsibilities:

1. Develop and oversee design concepts for various civil engineering projects such as utility power plants, underground utilities, and infrastructure.
2. Utilize CAD, AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software to create detailed plans and blueprints.
3. Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure project success.
4. Conduct site evaluations to ensure quality control and compliance with project specifications.
5. Manage all aspects of the design process, including the preparation of materials, cost estimates, and timelines.
6. Address any issues or challenges that arise during the construction process and devise effective solutions.
7. Ensure all designs and projects adhere to local, state, and federal regulations, as well as environmental guidelines.
8. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and design team members.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field required.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in civil design engineering.
3. Proficiency in CAD, AutoCAD, and Revit is essential.
4. Extensive experience in various sectors such as Higher Education, K-12, Healthcare, Recreation, Aviation, Construction, and Infrastructure.
5. Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices, including site designs, underground utilities, and stormwater management.
6. Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
7. Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
8. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
9. Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
10. Familiarity with local, state, and federal building codes and regulations.
