Job Details:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Civil Designer to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality civil design work for a variety of residential and commercial projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on exciting and challenging projects, working closely with a team of talented professionals. This is a permanent position that requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in civil design, with a focus on site design, AutoCAD, site plans, road profiles, utilities layout, and earthwork calculations.

Responsibilities:

• Design and prepare civil engineering drawings for residential and commercial projects using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Develop site plans, road profiles, utilities layout, and earthwork calculations.
• Collaborate with the project team to ensure design accuracy and consistency.
• Provide technical guidance and expertise to junior staff members.
• Review and interpret topographic data to aid in design.
• Coordinate with project managers and other team members to meet project deadlines.
• Participate in project meetings, providing updates and progress reports.
• Ensure all designs adhere to local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
• Continually update skills and knowledge in the latest civil design technologies and techniques.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil design.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Experience with site design, site plans, road profiles, utilities layout, and earthwork calculations.
• Knowledge of residential and commercial development standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal design regulations and standards.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license is a plus.
