Job Details:
Our organization is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Civil Designer to join our dynamic team. This exciting opportunity involves working on a variety of challenging and innovative construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed civil designs and drafting for various construction projects, using advanced software like AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other civil design tools. This role involves working closely with our team of engineers and architects, contributing to the successful completion of projects. The successful candidate will be expected to have a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of civil engineering principles and a passion for design.

Responsibilities:
1. Develop comprehensive civil designs and drafting for various construction projects using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other civil design tools.
2. Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other construction professionals to ensure designs are accurate and meet project specifications.
3. Perform grading and earthwork calculations, prepare grading plans and design site layouts.
4. Review and interpret survey data to create accurate and detailed design plans.
5. Develop and implement design strategies, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
6. Participate in project meetings, providing expert input on civil design aspects.
7. Assist in the preparation of construction documents, including detailed drawings and specifications.
8. Continually update skills and knowledge in the latest civil design and drafting technologies and software.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
2. A minimum of 3 years’ experience in civil design and drafting, preferably in the construction industry.
3. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant civil design software.
4. Extensive knowledge of civil engineering principles, grading, and earthwork calculations.
5. Exceptional technical and design skills, with a keen eye for detail.
6. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
7. Strong problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
