Job Details
Requirements:
Day-to-day:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensure, preferred
- At least 5 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on utilities infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles, construction techniques, and industry standards
- Experience managing projects from design through construction
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, GIS, and other engineering software
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and contractors
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
Day-to-day:
- Provide project support including design and project coordination
- Project planning, cost estimation, and schedule development
- Identify potential issues and risk with designs and construction plans
- Document control - meeting notes, budgets, schedules, RFIs, change orders, etc...
- Conduct site visits as needed
