Civil Litigation Attorney

The Associate Attorney role is responsible for the full oversight of all assigned client cases, including case research, client relationship management, diligent counsel, intra-firm coordination, and case outcomes. Reporting to the Senior Counsel and in conjunction with the Partner, the Associate Attorney will take a focused approach in delivering high-quality client service via effective case management and high-value legal counsel within their area of specialty and legal practice.

Required Qualifications
Minimum two years civil litigation experience;
Licensed in the state of California
Is professional, courteous, timely and intentional in communications with Team members, potential clients, clients, opposing parties, opposing counsels, third parties, and court personnel;
Able to build rapport with clients, opposing parties, opposing counsels, third parties and court personnel;
Active listener who uses logic and initiative to independently problem solve for solutions;
Takes pride in your work product and has a strong attention to detail (you want to kick yourself when you send that email and notice a typo!);
Enjoys oral and written advocacy;
Works well under pressure and deadlines;
Strong analytical and problem solving skills;
Proficient with Microsoft Office suite: MS Word and Outlook;
Familiar with FamilySoft, using Odyssey and WA court forms;
Experienced in case/document management software (we use PracticeMaster case management software and Tabs3 billing software);
Performs contemporaneous time keeping;
Successful candidates must be ethical, professional, reliable, possess a strong work ethic and growth mindset, be a Team player, and have good interpersonal skills.
