Job Details
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Project Manager in the Transportation sector of the Construction industry. The ideal candidate must have at least 3 years of experience in project management, transportation, civil engineering, roadway design, and TDOT. As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the transportation projects from start to finish, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of all stakeholders.

- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that all project requirements are met.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Develop project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and risk management plans.
- Monitor and report on project progress to all stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and project team members.
- Ensure that all project deliverables meet the quality standards and expectations of all stakeholders.
- Manage project risks and issues, develop mitigation plans, and escalate issues as necessary.
- Oversee the design and construction of transportation projects, including roadway design, traffic analysis, and construction management.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and codes, including TDOT standards and guidelines.
- Lead and manage project teams, including engineers, designers, contractors, and other project personnel.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to project team members and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- At least 3 years of experience in project management, transportation, civil engineering, roadway design, and TDOT.
- Strong project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Experience managing transportation projects, including roadway design, traffic analysis, and construction management.
- Knowledge of TDOT standards and guidelines.
- Ability to lead and manage project teams, including engineers, designers, contractors, and other project personnel.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
