We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Permanent Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our dynamic team in the medical industry. Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Clinical Nurse Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:
1. Providing comprehensive nursing care to patients suffering from various types of addiction.
2. Collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals to develop effective treatment plans.
3. Conducting patient evaluations and assessments to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
4. Providing education and counseling to patients and their families about treatment options and recovery processes.
5. Implementing and managing withdrawal or detoxification processes for patients.
6. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and any changes in patient health status.
7. Participating in continuous professional development activities to stay updated on the latest advancements in addiction medicine and nursing care.
8. Adhering to all relevant medical regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the Permanent Clinical Nurse Specialist position, you must meet the following qualifications:
1. A bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited institution. A master's degree in nursing or a related field is preferred.
2. A valid RN (Registered Nurse) license.
3. A minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Clinical Nurse Specialist or a similar role in the medical industry.
4. Proven experience in addiction treatment and addiction medicine.
5. Exceptional knowledge of behavioral health nursing practices and principles.
6. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
7. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound medical decisions under pressure.
8. High level of compassion and patience, with a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
9. Ability to maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
