CNAs also fall under the union benefits plan, with access for them and no additional out-of-pocket for kids or spouses (it is $30 per month/1%, and you have to work a minimum of 130 hours to qualify).
Full-time CNAs also accrue around 8 hours per pay period, which equals about 208 hours per year. They start accruing right away but can't use for 90 days. They can also cash out up to 120 hours per year in the month of their anniversary. The more they work, the more they accrue.

Job Details

Example duties entail:
1. Support good working processes for care staff, ensuring the continuation of services to residents.
2. Assist non-professional staff with daily delivery of resident care, job assignments, unit priorities, and with substitutes for staff absences.
3. Assist with new admissions, transfers, and discharges, providing direct resident care as determined by resident condition.
4. Document and report all resident skin conditions, report changes or new problems, and assist with monitoring residents on alert status.
5. Assist with completing incident forms, carrying out physician and R.N. orders and directives, and notifying as required.
6. Assist with documenting all pertinent information regarding treatments, meals, and medications. Disturbances and procedures performed on appropriate records.

Education & experience you need to qualify:
Completion of an approved CNA program
Active CNA License & Certification
Excellent written and oral communication and motivational skills are essential to success.
Must be able to perform essential job duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
