My client is a leading manufacturer and is looking to add a CNC Machinist to their growing team. This candidate will be asked to set up lathes and mills with little to no supervision.

Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Setting up and operating CNC machines, including mills and lathes, to produce precision parts to exact specifications.
2. Reading and interpreting technical drawings and plans to understand the machining requirements.
3. Inspecting and measuring finished products to ensure they meet specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements.
4. Troubleshooting any issues with the CNC machines and making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal performance.
5. Maintaining the CNC machines, including regular cleaning and minor repairs, to ensure they are in good working order.
6. Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
7. Collaborating with the engineering and production teams to improve machining processes and techniques.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a CNC Machinist, with extensive knowledge of CNC setup, mills and lathes, and CNC machine operation.
2. Proven experience in troubleshooting and resolving issues with CNC machines.
3. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and plans.
4. Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to produce precision parts to exact specifications.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
6. Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other team members.
7. A commitment to adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
8. A high school diploma or equivalent. A certificate or degree in a relevant field is preferred.
