Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled CNC Programmer to join our progressive manufacturing team. This is a permanent role where you will be responsible for programming using CATIA V5, creating and optimizing CNC programs, and ensuring the highest level of precision and efficiency. You will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, working closely with the production team to enhance productivity and quality. Responsibilities:

1. Develop and optimize CNC programs using CATIA V5 for various types of machinery.
2. Interpret technical drawings and specifications to create accurate CNC programs.
3. Collaborate with the production team to ensure the successful execution of CNC programs.
4. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CNC programming and machinery.
5. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of G and M Codes and their application in CNC programming.
6. Implement and monitor safety standards and procedures in compliance with company policies.
7. Continuously strive for improvement in processes and techniques to enhance productivity and efficiency.
8. Provide training and support to less experienced staff members, fostering a culture of learning and development.
9. Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in CNC programming and machinery.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a CNC Programmer, preferably in the aerospace manufacturing industry.
2. Proficiency in CATIA V5 and a thorough understanding of G and M Codes.
3. Exceptional technical skills with a keen eye for detail.
4. Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work well under pressure.
5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
6. Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and collaborate effectively with different departments.
7. A strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
8. A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
