CNC Programmer

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret technical blueprints and design models
• Program various parts for 4D and 5D vertical & horizontal mills and CNC lathes using CAM and

any other necessary software

• Create and plan setup for CNC operations including designing tools and fixtures for programs
• Assist setup operators in verification and adjustments of new CNC programs
• Ensure processes and procedures are in place and followed when creating CNC programs
• Participate in quality, process, TPM and other audits as assigned
• Attend and participate in concurrent engineering meetings related to in house machined parts
• Assist in production rework as needed for expedited shipments
• Seek and implement continuous improvement (CI) ideas and support company CI efforts
• Assist in sourcing and procurement of CNC capital equipment to support productivity
• All other duties as assigned
