Key Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
- Lead, train, and supervise the Financial Services team, ensuring high performance and alignment with company goals.
- Develop and enforce credit and collections policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Analyze accounts receivable aging reports and recommend collection strategies to minimize delinquency.
- Implement technology solutions to streamline credit and collections processes, utilizing automation wherever possible.
- Collaborate with Sales, IT, and other departments to manage customer credit risk, resolve payment issues, and improve cash flow.
- Prepare and present reports on credit and collections activities to senior leadership, including KPIs and performance metrics.
- Lead the evaluation of customer credit limits, analyzing financial statements and credit reports to assess risk.
- Select and manage relationships with third-party collection agencies, ensuring adherence to company policies and legal standards.
- Maintain a strong focus on reducing write-offs and improving accounts receivable performance.
- Foster a positive team culture, providing feedback, coaching, and development opportunities to team members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- 7+ years of leadership experience in credit and collections, with a proven track record of managing high-volume B2B retail collections.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, V-Lookup).
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- In-depth understanding of large retail B2B collections, credit risk management, and compliance.
- Ability to lead a team under high stress, with a focus on performance management, motivation, and development.
- Must be a collaborative leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and aligns with the company’s core values of teamwork,
