Job Details:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Permanent Commercial Construction Superintendent to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of commercial construction projects, including grocery stores, high-end retail establishments, and other commercial properties. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction projects from planning to implementation, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring that they are completed in a timely manner and within budget.
• Review project plans and specifications to determine the appropriate construction methods and sequence of activities.
• Coordinate and supervise the activities of construction workers, subcontractors, and staff.
• Inspect and review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes, and other regulations.
• Implement and enforce company policies and safety standards.
• Prepare and submit progress reports, project updates, and budget reports to management.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction specialists to ensure project success.
• Resolve any issues or delays that may occur during the construction process.
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure the highest level of project quality.
• Utilize construction management software such as Bluebeam for project management and documentation.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 10 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent in commercial construction.
• Proven experience in managing construction projects from start to finish.
• Strong knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and safety guidelines.
• Proficiency in construction management software such as Bluebeam.
• Exceptional leadership and project management skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field is preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation.
• Experience in grocery store and high-end retail construction is a plus.
