We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team. This permanent role is an exciting opportunity to utilize and expand your skills in commercial insurance, customer service, risk management, policy analysis, and client relations. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial lines clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met, and building long-lasting relationships. This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage a portfolio of commercial lines clients, providing exceptional customer service and maintaining strong relationships.
2. Analyze and assess clients' insurance needs, identify potential risks, and propose suitable insurance solutions.
3. Handle policy renewals, endorsements, and cancellations, ensuring all changes are processed accurately and promptly.
4. Prepare and present proposals to clients, explaining the benefits and conditions of insurance policies.
5. Work closely with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and support the sales process.
6. Maintain accurate client records and ensure all client interactions are documented in the management system.
7. Resolve client inquiries and issues in a timely and professional manner, escalating complex issues as necessary.
8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and product developments to provide informed advice to clients.
Qualifications:
1. 1+ years of experience in commercial insurance, with a focus on account management, customer service, risk management, policy analysis, and policy renewal.
2. Proficient in managing commercial lines including property, casualty, renewals, certificates, and proposals.
3. Proven track record in client management and building strong client relationships.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex insurance concepts in simple terms.
5. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess risks and propose suitable insurance solutions.
6. Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
7. Proficient in using insurance management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
8. Current insurance license or the ability to obtain one within a specified timeframe.
9. Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
