Job Details
The Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative (CSR) is responsible for providing excellent customer service and administrative support to Account Managers, Producers, and clients. This role involves processing policy changes, issuing certificates of insurance, responding to client inquiries, and assisting with renewals and billing.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle daily service requests for commercial insurance clients, including policy changes, endorsements, cancellations, and certificates.
Issue binders, auto ID cards, and other policy-related documents.
Assist with renewals by preparing applications and gathering underwriting information.
Communicate with insurance carriers to follow up on outstanding issues or documentation.
Maintain accurate records in the agency management system (e.g., AMS360, EPIC, Applied).
Respond promptly to client questions regarding coverage, billing, and claims.
Assist with audits by gathering documentation and coordinating with clients and carriers.
Support Account Managers and Producers in marketing and quoting activities when needed.
Ensure compliance with agency procedures and carrier guidelines.
Qualifications:
1–3 years of experience in commercial insurance preferred.
Property & Casualty license (or ability to obtain within 90 days).
Proficiency in insurance agency management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
