Title: Superintendent
Location: Florence, KY
Salary: $100,000 - $150,000
Requirements: Commercial Construction / Pre- Construction / LEED

• Project Management: Oversee the entire construction process, from preconstruction to project completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Collaborate with project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers, to ensure successful project execution.
• Construction Management: Supervise and coordinate all construction activities, including subcontractor selection, scheduling, and onsite construction activities. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
• Preconstruction: Collaborate with the preconstruction team to review project plans, specifications, and other relevant documents. Provide input on constructability, budget estimates, and scheduling. Identify potential risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
• Commercial Ground-Up: Lead commercial ground-up construction projects, overseeing all aspects of the construction process, including site preparation, foundation work, structural framing, and interior finishes. Ensure that the project is executed according to design specifications and quality standards.
• General Contracting: Manage all aspects of general contracting projects, including bid solicitation, subcontractor selection, contract negotiation, and project execution. Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders, addressing any issues or concerns that may arise.

Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience in commercial construction, preferably with a focus on LEED-certified projects.
• LEED Certification: Strong knowledge of LEED principles and experience implementing sustainable construction practices. LEED certification is highly desirable.
• Project Management Skills: Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Proficient in project management software and tools.
• Construction Expertise: In-depth understanding of commercial construction processes, including site preparation, foundation work, structural framing, and interior finishes. Familiarity with construction codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Leadership: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate teams. Proven ability to build strong relationships
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, develop innovative solutions, and make informed decisions.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent work experience will also be considered.
