We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commissioning Agent to join our engineering industry team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design, and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or MEP. The chosen candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient and effective commissioning of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
- Commissioning of HVAC systems, including air handlers, chillers, boilers, and associated equipment.
- Commissioning of electrical systems, including switchgear, transformers, and distribution panels.
- Commissioning of plumbing systems, including domestic water, sanitary, and stormwater systems.
- Conduct functional performance testing of all building systems.
- Develop and execute commissioning plans, including pre-functional checklists, functional performance testing procedures, and final reports.
- Provide technical support to project teams during the design and construction phases.
- Review and approve submittals, shop drawings, and other project documentation.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
- Provide training to building owners and operators on system operation and maintenance.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or MEP.
- Preferred Certified Building Commissioning Professional (CBCP) or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience in commissioning of building systems.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, DDC controls, DDC systems, BAS, AutoCAD, and Revit.
- Experience with functional performance testing and commissioning plans.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to travel to project sites as required.
