Hiring a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Lead AV Technician to join the growing team and business operations. The Commissioning Field AV Tech, will be responsible for overseeing the installation and maintenance of audiovisual systems in various settings, including corporate offices, conference centers, and entertainment venues with support of a team. This is a full-time position that requires a strong technical background and excellent communication skills.
- Oversee the installation and maintenance of audiovisual systems, including but not limited to projectors, screens, audio systems, video conferencing systems, and control systems.
- Coordinate with project managers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Train and mentor junior technicians to ensure they have the necessary skills to complete tasks effectively.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during installations and maintenance.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment and inventory.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in audiovisual technology.
- At least 5 years of experience as an Installation Technician or AV Technician.
- Strong technical background in Crestron, low voltage, cable and wire, Savant, AV integration, cabling, and fiber.
- Familiarity with industry standards and certifications such as CEDIA, Info COMM, and CE Pro.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members and clients.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and travel as needed.
