Responsibilities:
- Commission, test, troubleshoot, and maintain various types of field equipment, SCADA systems, PPC, HMI, and PLC.
- Work closely with the engineering team to implement and validate system designs.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system design documents, test plans, and commissioning reports.
- Assist in the training of end-users on the operation and maintenance of systems.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on systems to ensure they are operating efficiently and safely.
- Respond to emergency call-outs to diagnose and repair system faults.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our systems remain competitive.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the technology industry.
- Proven experience with commissioning, SCADA systems, field equipment, PPC, HMI, and PLC.
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of system design and architecture.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair system faults.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A relevant degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
- A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to various job sites.
- Must be able to lift and carry heavy equipment and tools.
