We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Construction Administrator to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
As a Permanent Construction Administrator, you will be responsible for:
1. Coordinating and tracking contract submittals, proposal requests, ASIs, and contractor pay applications to ensure compliance with project specifications and deadlines.
2. Maintaining and managing construction documentation, including plans, reports, and AIA documents.
3. Assisting in the preparation and review of contracts and agreements, ensuring all documents are accurate and complete.
4. Collaborating with project managers and other team members to ensure smooth execution of construction projects.
5. Facilitating communication between the engineering team, contractors, and clients, acting as a primary point of contact for administrative matters.
6. Monitoring project progress, identifying potential issues, and proposing effective solutions.
7. Ensuring all administrative procedures and processes comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a construction administration role within the engineering industry.
2. Proven experience with contract submittals, proposal requests, ASIs, contractor pay applications, construction documentation, and AIA documents.
3. Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
4. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively liaise with various stakeholders.
5. High level of proficiency in using project management software and other relevant computer applications.
6. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
7. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field is preferred.
