Job Details
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Construction Contracts Manager to join our team of two at a great company in the Finance/Accounting industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contracts, AIA, and OSIP. This is a full-time position that requires a minimum of three years of experience in the field.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of construction contracts, including drafting, negotiating, and executing contracts with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to construction contracts.
- Review and analyze contract terms and conditions to identify potential risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Work closely with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure that contracts are aligned with project goals and objectives.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of services and materials.
- Monitor contract performance and take corrective action as needed to ensure that all parties are meeting their obligations.
- Provide guidance and support to project teams on contract-related issues, including change orders, claims, and disputes.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures related to contract management to ensure consistency and efficiency across the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, business administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of three years of experience in construction contract management.
- Strong knowledge of contracts, AIA, and OSIP.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and contract management software.
