Job Details:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Construction Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your technical expertise and leadership abilities in the Construction industry, particularly within the School Construction sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and improving electrical instruments, equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.

Responsibilities:

• Develop electrical systems by designing, implementing, and overseeing the construction and installation of electrical components and systems in compliance with industry standards and codes.
• Collaborate closely with architects and other engineering specialists to design and implement electrical systems for school buildings.
• Ensure compliance with state and local building codes, electrical codes, and other relevant regulations.
• Coordinate with School District Departments to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements.
• Manage construction projects effectively, ensuring that all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Provide expert advice and guidance on electrical matters, making recommendations for energy-efficient and cost-effective solutions.
• Conduct inspections of electrical systems to ensure their safety, reliability, and functionality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical problems, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
• Prepare technical specifications, reports, and other documentation as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture Engineering or a related field.
• A valid Architectural License is a must.
• At least 5 years of experience in Electrical Systems Design, School Design, and School Construction.
• Proven experience in Construction Management.
• In-depth knowledge of Electrical Code Compliance and Building Codes.
• Excellent technical abilities, with a strong understanding of electrical systems, components, and applications.
• Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to oversee and coordinate complex construction projects.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and liaise with a range of stakeholders.
• Proficient in the use of relevant software, including CAD and other engineering design tools.
• A strong commitment to safety, with the ability to ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures.
