REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The individual in this role is analytical by nature, possesses the ability to manage tight deadlines, and excels in a fast-paced environment. He or she will be an effective team builder and can work strategically with all levels of the organization.
o Have 10+ years of estimating and preconstruction bid experience of large projects in water, wastewater, and/or other heavy civil projects;
o Have 10+ years of growing and mentoring a team, creating a cohesive unit that wins;
o Possesses polished and effective influencing skills with the ability to mentor and build knowledge in direct reports;
o Have proven experience in driving the successful execution of the bid process for $20 million to $100 million bids;
o Field experience in estimating, purchasing, submittal review, CAD, and cost control;
o Highly motivated, organized, and detail oriented;
o Have relevant construction or engineering industry experience;
o Have or build the industry contacts that will contribute to bid success;
o Possess highly refined analytical abilities;
o Maintain proficient computer, excel, and estimating software skills;
o Have exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills;
o Maintain a valid Driver’s License;
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
o College Degree Preferred – MA/MS may be substituted for experience;
o Experience in concrete, excavation, underground and exposed piping;
o Experience with the process for digital bid submittals.
