Are you ready to take on a challenging role in the construction industry? We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Construction Manager to join our team on a permanent basis. This role is ideal for a professional who has a deep understanding of the construction process, knowledge of AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, and experience in truss manufacturing. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of developing and maintaining project schedules, negotiating subcontract agreements and material purchase orders, reviewing and approving invoicing, and maintaining relationships with owner/clients, engineers, and subcontractors. Responsibilities:

As a Construction Manager, your duties will include but not be limited to:

1. Developing and maintaining detailed project schedules to ensure timely completion of projects.
2. Negotiating subcontract agreements and material purchase orders to ensure cost-effectiveness.
3. Reviewing and approving invoicing to maintain financial control over projects.
4. Developing and maintaining relationships with owner/clients, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
5. Using AutoCAD to design and implement construction plans.
6. Utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook for project management and communication.
7. Overseeing truss manufacturing to ensure quality and compliance with specifications and standards.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
2. Proven experience in developing and maintaining project schedules.
3. Demonstrable experience in negotiating subcontract agreements and material purchase orders.
4. Experience in reviewing and approving invoicing.
5. A track record of developing and maintaining relationships with owner/clients, engineers, and subcontractors.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
7. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
8. Experience in truss manufacturing.
9. A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field would be advantageous.
