As a Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing complex and mission-critical construction projects from inception to completion. This role demands a strategic leader who excels in managing high-pressure situations, coordinating diverse teams, and delivering exceptional results while adhering to stringent deadlines and budgets.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Oversight: Lead and manage all aspects of mission-critical construction projects, including planning, execution, and delivery. Ensure projects meet quality standards, safety regulations, and client expectations.
Team Coordination: Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution. Foster a cooperative and efficient work environment.
Budget and Scheduling: Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and schedules. Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to keep projects on track.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address challenges and prevent delays.
Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
Compliance: Ensure all work complies with industry regulations, building codes, and safety standards. Maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on mission-critical projects such as data centers, healthcare facilities, or other high-demand environments.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
Skills: Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously. Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification preferred. OSHA certification and other relevant safety training is desirable.
Knowledge: In-depth understanding of mission-critical construction requirements, project management methodologies, and regulatory compliance.
