Construction Senior Project Manager - USACE Projects

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager you'll be responsible for moderate to larger-sized complex projects.

Your Role and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Project Executive, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

Manage project documentation including contract execution, bonds/insurance, submittals, schedules, RFIs, change proposals/orders, meeting minutes, quality control plan, and subcontractor management
Responsible for project financials including reporting, projections, cash flow, billing, profitability, and close-out/final payment
Partner with the Project Executive and Superintendent to develop, input, and monitor the master project schedule
Assist Project Executive with monitoring the Project Success Plan and staffing plans
Review and supervise Project Engineers and Superintendents performance, ensuring that responsibilities are met
Promote project safety, ensure safety audits are conducted, and confirm subcontractor AHAs follow company and federal safety protocols
Assist in development of project quality control program and see that contract standards are met
Prepare and present monthly Job Status Report
Develop and cultivate long-term relationships with owners, vendors, and sub-contractors
Conduct employee performance reviews as needed
Work with Preconstruction Department to acquire new projects
Stay to date on industry developments and best practices
Attend Company meetings and presentations as required

Minimum 10 years of technical experience in the construction industry required
Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Engineering, Construction Management, or similar field preferred
OSHA 30-hour Certification required
Knowledge of industry software including Procore, Bluebeam, P6, Viewpoint, and e-Builder expected
Experience with SmartSheets software is highly advantageous
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and SharePoint
Ability to manage projects of moderate size and complexity under minimal supervision
Possess leadership skills and strong interpersonal communication to work effectively with colleagues, clients, and vendors
Ability to work well under pressure
Flexibility to work extended work hours/days to meet deadlines
