Responsibilities

As a Construction Project Manager, you will:

1. Oversee the planning and execution of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
2. Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure a seamless flow of operations.
3. Prepare and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
4. Monitor the progress of projects, making adjustments as needed to ensure they stay on track.
5. Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes.
6. Manage the procurement of materials and equipment.
7. Resolve any issues or delays that may arise during the construction process.
8. Maintain regular communication with clients, keeping them updated on the progress of their projects.
9. Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
10. Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Construction Project Manager role should have:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a project management role within the construction industry, with a focus on heavy commercial construction, industrial construction, self-perform, and/or general contracting.
3. Proven experience in project planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
4. Strong leadership and team management skills.
5. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
6. Proficiency in construction management software.
7. The ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints.
8. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
9. A solid understanding of safety regulations and building codes.
10. A valid driver's license and the ability to travel as needed.
