We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Construction Superintendent to join our dynamic team. This role involves overseeing all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest levels of quality and safety. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, excellent communicator, and experienced in managing complex construction projects.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all aspects of the construction project from initial planning to completion, ensuring all work meets the highest levels of quality and safety standards.
2. Manage subcontractors and vendor relationships, ensuring all work is carried out according to the project plan and specifications.
3. Read and interpret blueprints, building codes, and other technical documents.
4. Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring all milestones and deadlines are met.
5. Monitor project budget, making necessary adjustments to ensure the project stays within budget.
6. Lead and manage on-site construction teams, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
7. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
8. Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including clients, team members, and subcontractors.
9. Solve problems and make decisions in a timely and effective manner, ensuring the smooth running of the project.
10. Provide excellent customer service, addressing any client concerns or queries promptly and professionally.
11. Ensure all construction activities are carried out in compliance with local and national safety regulations.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent or in a similar role in the construction industry.
2. Proven experience in site management, subcontracting, blueprint reading, building codes, materials management, and construction safety.
3. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
4. Strong communication and customer service skills.
5. Proven ability to solve problems and make decisions under pressure.
6. Experience in construction estimating, budgeting, scheduling, safety management, contract management, construction planning, construction management, and quality control.
7. Knowledge of vendor management and building inspections.
8. Ability to plan strategically and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
9. Knowledge of local and national building codes and safety regulations.
10. A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
11. Certifications in Construction Safety, Project Management, or a related field will be an advantage.
12. Must be willing to travel to various construction sites as needed.
