Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire contract lifecycle, from initial request to final signature and beyond, ensuring all contracts are properly executed and fulfilled.
- Develop and implement contracts governance strategies to minimize risk and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Work closely with other departments to negotiate contract terms and conditions, ensuring they align with company objectives and legal requirements.
- Manage contract modifications, ensuring they are properly documented and communicated to all relevant parties.
- Stay updated with federal acquisition regulations and the code of federal regulations, ensuring all contracts are compliant.
- Ensure compliance with the JWOD act and other relevant laws and regulations.
- Provide training and support to other team members on contract management and related issues.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers, acting as the primary point of contact for all contract-related issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, or a related field.
- Certified Contract Manager designation from the National Contract Management Association (NCMA) or equivalent certification.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in contract management, with a strong focus on contract lifecycle management and governance.
- In-depth knowledge of federal acquisition regulations and the code of federal regulations.
- Familiarity with the JWOD act and other relevant laws and regulations.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to manage relationships with clients and suppliers effectively.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to understand and interpret complex contract terms and conditions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and contract management software.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
