We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Consulting Contracts Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing contracts governance within our organization. This is a unique hybrid role that combines the strategic insight of a consultant with the technical expertise of a contracts specialist. Work 4 days remote !!!!!

Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Review, negotiate, and manage all types of contracts including but not limited to, government, nonprofit, and commercial contracts.
2. Ensure contract compliance with federal acquisition regulations, code of federal regulations, JWOD act, and other relevant laws and regulations.
3. Provide consultation and advice to the management team on all contract-related matters.
4. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) and abilityOne program.
5. Develop and implement contract management strategies and procedures.
6. Manage contract modifications and keep all stakeholders informed of the changes.
7. Identify potential contract risks and provide risk mitigation strategies.
8. Collaborate with various departments to ensure contract requirements are met.
9. Provide training and guidance to team members on contract management best practices.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, or related field.
2. NCMA CFCM Certification is required.
3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in contract management, particularly with contracts governance.
4. Deep understanding of federal acquisition regulations, code of federal regulations, JWOD act.
5. Experience with the abilityOne program and FAR.
6. Proven experience in a nonprofit setting is a plus.
7. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage complex contracts.
8. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions.
9. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
10. Proficiency in using contract management software and other related tools.
11. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
