Job Details

Job Responsibilities:
Oversees the operations of the Accounting Department, which include accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll.
Oversees the production of income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement and other financial reports and schedules including footnotes; ensures that the results are reported timely, relevant and accurately, and in compliance with U.S. GAAP.
Maintains a documented system of accounting policies and procedures; implements a system of effective and efficient internal controls over accounting transactions to minimize risk.
Responsible for year-end audit/review planning and execution with the auditors.
Leads the implementation of data mining and reporting in the ERP system.
Leads continuous improvement in processes and systems to increase efficiency, streamline workflow and create effective controls throughout the company.
Produces the annual budget and forecasts in coordination with other departments; reports significant budget differences to management.
Prepares monthly KPIs with accuracy and integrity for timely internal and external reporting, including the recommendation of benchmarks used to measure the company’s performance.
Supervises the cost accounting function to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Oversees all regulatory reporting and filing in accordance to U.S. GAAP.
Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements.
Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.

Must have Qualifications:
BA/BS Degree in accounting, business or finance.
8+ years of relatable accounting experience with direct supervisory responsibilities
CPA certification
Public accounting experience at a Tier 1 firm.
Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP, financial statement presentation and accounting theory.
Experience working with an ERP system, preferably SAP.
Experience with integrated accounting software and payroll systems.
Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite.
Demonstrated record of success in a multicultural environment and ability to work effectively with diverse communities.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
