Our company is seeking a Permanent Controller to join our dynamic team within the finance industry. This position is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to take on a leadership role in managing our financial operations. The Controller is responsible for guiding the financial decisions. The responsibilities will include the following:


Formulating and executing the company's financial strategy
Developing plans for growth with main goal to increase the company's profit
Overseeing accounting operations including payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable
Directing and preparing financial analyses of operations for guidance by management
Directing the preparation and consolidation of annual budget
Preparing weekly profit and loss statements and other financial results with restaurant general managers to initiate action plans as required
Monitoring cash flow
Work with CPA firms that prepare company taxes and required audits
Collaborate with the management team n optimizing technology solutions
Assisting in the contractual agreements between all vendors

Experience

Prefer MBA Degree or Masters in Accounting
Three or more years' experience in management in hospitality or restaurant industry
Certification - Certified Public Account (CPA) would be helpful or worked with a CPA firm that prepared company taxes and prepared required audits
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and other accounting software programs (including Restaurant 365 or similar ERP's)
