Controller; a member of the company’s senior management team, reporting directly to the President, the successful candidate will be a “hands on” leader who will embrace the collaborative, entrepreneurial spirit that has been the catalyst of the company’s most recent success.
The Controller will be a key member of the senior management team and be directly responsible for all the financial and administrative initiatives of the Company.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and prepare internal and external financial statements including coordinating activities regarding external auditors
• Ensure company practices & billing are in compliance with current customer contracts
• Work with senior management in the negotiation of new customer contracts
• Develop and/or improve administrative systems & reporting metrics to better monitor & control job timing & costs
• Uphold the enforcement of all company policies & procedures as applicable.
• Responsible for managing all financial budgets/forecasting, insurance policies and employee benefit plans.
• Initiate a program to attract, develop and retain top field talent in support of the labor demand created via the continued growth
• Maximize relationships & economics with company suppliers and sub-contractors
• Produce and distribute a weekly cash flow report.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 7 years “hands on” accounting & reporting experience, with the last 4 years in a supervisory role supporting senior leadership.
• Excellent manager and mentor with effective communication & execution skills.
• Team player helping to facilitate positive organizational change.
• Possess a “roll up the sleeves and do what it takes” attitude.
