Are you a seasoned finance professional with a knack for numbers and a passion for driving business growth? We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Controller to join our dynamic Accounting and Finance team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to take the helm of our financial operations, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency in our financial management. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in compliance, general ledger (GL) management, financial analysis, and auditing.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all financial operations of the company, including budgeting, financial forecasting, and capital asset management.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, federal, and international financial regulations and standards.
  • Manage the general ledger (GL), ensuring accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions.
  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to identify trends, forecasts, and potential risks, providing strategic recommendations to senior management.
  • Coordinate and lead annual audit processes, liaising with external auditors and managing internal controls.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
  • Mentor and guide the finance team, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Provide financial insights and guidance to the executive team, supporting strategic decision-making processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. An advanced degree or professional certification (CPA, CMA, etc.) is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a Controller role or similar senior-level finance position.
  • Proven expertise in compliance, GL management, financial analysis, and auditing.
  • Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent analytical and strategic planning skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Proficiency in using financial software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong ethical standards and a high level of integrity.
