This role is integral to our organization, as you will be responsible for the overall management of our company's financial operations. The Permanent Controller will oversee all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures.

We are seeking a dynamic and highly-skilled Permanent Controller to join our Accounting + Finance team. This role is integral to our organization, as you will be responsible for the overall management of our company's financial operations. The Permanent Controller will oversee all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all company accounts and investments.
- Create monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends, and financial forecasts.
- Manage cash flow by tracking transactions and regularly reviewing internal reports.
- Supervise and manage financial department staff, including accountants and financial assistants.
- Motivate and lead finance team members by clarifying roles and providing helpful feedback.
- Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported.
- Establish and implement financial reporting systems to comply with government regulations and legislation.
- Collaborate with auditing services to ensure proper compliance with all regulations.
- Develop budgets and financial plans for the company based on research and data reports.
- Review all financial plans and budgets regularly to look for cost reduction opportunities.
- Examine all financial reports and data closely to check for discrepancies.
- Create systems to prevent errors in data collection and calculations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
- Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designation preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior financial managerial position.
- Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and Microsoft Dynamics SL financial reporting software.
- Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting and cost control principles, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong leadership qualities.
- Excellent interpersonal and team management skills.
- Impeccable analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to work with large amounts of data.
- Ability to manage and supervise a team.
- Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data.
