Job Details

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist with all aspects of finance and accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
Compile monthly financial statements and prepare the monthly financial package for management
Assist with cash forecasting and monitoring to ensure working capital needs are met
Maintain a chart of accounts
Assist with project budgeting
Prepare grant reporting and filings
Assist with statutory filings with states, including payroll, sales tax, and property taxes
Liaise with management regarding financial results, strategic initiatives, and ad-hoc reporting
Assist each department in the entity to create budgets and efficient processes
Complete month-end closing of books
Create revenue recognition according to ASC 606
Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

MBA, CPA is a plus
Experience with Netsuite a plus
High level of professionalism, confidence, and discretion
Superior process, project, time, and change management skills
Exceptional intuition with the ability to proactively anticipate needs
Independent decision-making capabilities with strong judgment
Great organizational skills and logical thinker who can prioritize and pivot quickly between tasks while retaining and synthesizing information
Ability to work calmly under pressure while maintaining meticulous attention to detail
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
The persistence to ‘breakthrough walls’ to solve problems
Basic technological proficiency required, advanced proficiency preferred; willingness to learn a wide range of new technologies and applications
