Job Details:
We are in search of an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as a Permanent Controller. This position plays a pivotal role in our finance department, responsible for all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures. The incumbent will also be involved in cash flow management, month-end close, accounts receivable, and accounts payable. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our company's financial health, growth, and overall success.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
2. Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, and report variances.
3. Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
4. Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
5. Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
6. Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
7. Additional controller duties as necessary.
8. Manage all aspects of the month-end close process.
9. Direct cash flow planning and ensure availability of funds.
10. Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field; MBA or relevant certification (e.g. CMA, CGA) is a plus.
2. Proven working experience as a Financial controller with 5+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience.
3. Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
4. Experience with creating financial statements.
5. Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
6. Excellent accounting software user and administration skills.
7. Must have experience in financial analysis, budgeting, cash flow management, month-end close, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
8. Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results.
9. Advanced MS Excel skills including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
10. Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
