Job Details:
We are actively seeking an experienced and dynamic Controller to join our team. This exciting opportunity will allow the successful candidate to play a pivotal role in the company's financial operations. As a Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures. This role requires a strong background in finance, excellent leadership skills, and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
  • Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
  • Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
  • Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
  • Research technical accounting issues for compliance.
  • Support month-end and year-end close process.
  • Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
  • Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
  • Additional controller duties as necessary.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior finance role.
  • Proven working experience as a Financial Controller.
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
  • Experience with creating financial statements.
  • Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
  • Excellent accounting software user and administration skills.
  • Solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
  • Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.
  • Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and financial management software.
  • Strong attention to detail and confidentiality.
  • Excellent business acumen and ability to work with senior management.
  • Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
