This position will be critical in establishing financial controls, enhancing financial reporting, and leading and developing our accounting team. This person will also be assisting in providing feedback and developing processes that assist in the operations of the business.



Role & Responsibilities

Oversee the Accounting Team - including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll
Prepare monthly financial statements
Analyze financial statements and provide observations of performance of the business
Teach, train, and grow the Accounting Team
Implement new controls and processes to improve company reporting


Requirements

Bachelors degree in Accounting or a related field required
Proficiency in financial software and systems including QuickBooks
CPA required
5+ years of experience in accounting or finance
Experience in the automotive, construction, or retail industry is a plus but not required
Public accounting experience is a plus but not required
M&A experience is a plus but not required
Ability to lead and develop accounting staff
