We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and experienced Controller to join our team in the Accounting + Finance industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food and beverage sector and will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures.

Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
2. Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
3. Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
4. Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
5. Research technical accounting issues for compliance.
6. Support month-end and year-end close process.
7. Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
8. Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
9. Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
Qualifications:
1. Proven working experience as a Financial Controller with 5+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience.
2. Advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
3. CPA or CMA preferred.
4. Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
5. Experience with creating financial statements and general ledger functions.
6. Excellent accounting software user and administration skills.
7. Demonstrated experience in the food & beverage industry.
8. Proven expertise in monthly reporting, financial statements, annual budget, AR, AP.
9. Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
10. Solid communication, technology, analytical and management skills.
11. Ability to strategize and solve problems.
12. Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity.
