Job Details

Responsibilities:
1. Design, develop, and implement control systems (hardware and software) to meet production requirements.
2. Work closely with other engineers and professionals in the development of programming and control strategies for production processes.
3. Use your knowledge of Wonderware, Allen-Bradley ControlLogix, and PLCs to optimize plant engineering operations.
4. Perform troubleshooting and repair of complex control systems to prevent or minimize production downtime.
5. Prepare and maintain operational documentation, data sheets, and reports to capture and analyze operational performance data.
6. Ensure all systems and processes adhere to applicable standards and regulations.
7. Train and guide staff on control systems to ensure optimal performance and understanding.
8. Continually monitor and adapt systems to improve efficiency, safety, and functionality.
9. Participate in project planning and provide expertise on controls requirements and implications.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Controls Engineer or in a similar role.
3. Proficient in hardware application and programming.
4. Extensive experience with Wonderware, Allen-Bradley ControlLogix, and PLCs.
5. Knowledge of plant engineering and industrial control systems.
6. Strong understanding of current safety standards and regulations.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex control systems.
8. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex systems and concepts to non-technical team members.
9. Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, as well as independently when required.
10. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, with a keen attention to detail.
11. Willingness to stay updated with the latest advancements in control systems and industrial technology.
