As a Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing the implementation of end-to-end integrated systems. You will be a key player in enhancing the efficiency of our manufacturing processes through innovative automation. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects while shaping the future of our manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities:
1. Design and develop control systems and software for automated equipment.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and define project requirements.
3. Develop and implement efficient, innovative automation systems to optimize manufacturing processes.
4. Utilize CAD and SolidWorks to design system layouts and schematics.
5. Ensure all control systems and software comply with safety and industry standards.
6. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to control systems and automation.
7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all control systems.
8. Provide technical support and training to the production team for automated equipment.
9. Continuously monitor and analyze the performance of control systems to identify opportunities for improvement.
10. Stay abreast of latest control and automation technologies and industry trends.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Controls Engineer or similar role in the manufacturing industry.
3. Proficiency in CAD and SolidWorks.
4. Extensive knowledge of control systems and automation.
5. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and industrial engineering principles.
6. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
9. Familiarity with industry safety standards and regulations.
10. Experience with PLC programming and HMI development is a plus.
