PLC Programming
Controls hardware design engineering- detailing schematics and panel layouts, parts ordering, field connection diagrams

Are you a dynamic, experienced Controls Engineer looking for an opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects in the manufacturing industry? If so, we have an excellent opportunity for you! As a Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing the implementation of control systems. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency, safety, and performance of our manufacturing processes. This position offers a unique opportunity to apply your skills in Controls Engineering, Allen Bradley, HMI, Servos, and PLC programming.

Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop control systems to improve manufacturing efficiency, quality, and safety.
2. Program, troubleshoot and maintain PLCs, HMIs, and Servos, primarily using Allen Bradley software.
3. Develop and implement standard engineering practices, as well as provide detailed documentation upon project completion.
4. Collaborate with project managers, design engineers, and manufacturing personnel during all project phases.
5. Oversee the installation, modification, upgrade, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment and systems to ensure smooth and efficient production operations.
6. Monitor and adjust control systems in response to changes in production processes.
7. Provide technical support to the manufacturing team to resolve complex machinery and control system issues.
8. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements in control systems engineering.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in Controls Engineering, specifically in the manufacturing industry.
3. Proficient in PLC programming, with a strong preference for experience with Allen Bradley systems.
4. Experience with HMI and Servos.
5. Demonstrated ability to design and implement complex control systems.
6. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and operations.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex machinery issues.
8. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical team members.
9. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
10. Willingness to stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in control systems engineering.
