We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Controls Engineer to join our team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to design, develop, and implement innovative control systems. The successful candidate will work on various stages of automation and control projects, including designing, planning, specifying, programming, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting. Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop control systems.
  • Program and troubleshoot PLC-based systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and objectives.
  • Manage all aspects of control system projects, from design to implementation.
  • Ensure all control systems operate with maximum efficiency and output.
  • Identify and troubleshoot system issues, and implement robust solutions to prevent re-occurrence.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new manufacturing technologies and processes.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to maintenance and operations teams.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, including design specifications, manuals, and SOPs.
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant industry safety standards and regulations.

Job Details

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field (Preferred, NOT required)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proven experience with systems integration, industrial automation, troubleshooting, PLC programming, and control systems design-
  • Strong knowledge of PLC programming languages-Allen Bradley: CompactLogix, ControlLogix, SLC 500 Siemens : 416 Square D : Symax 50
  • Strong knowledge of HMI - Panelview, Panelview Plus or Siemens : TP, OP Series.
  • Strong knowledge of VFD and Robotics - SEW Eurodrive and Denso, Espon, FANUC, Kuka, Kawasaki
  • Proficiency in using desired software for designing control systems.- RSLogix 5000/500, or Siemens Step 7, TIA portal.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong team player with the ability to work independently when required.
  • Knowledge of industry safety standards and regulations.
  • Demonstrated ability to innovate and implement improvements to processes and procedures.
