Controls Automation Technician

We are known to be a leader in private label frozen pizza! We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Controls Technician to join our dynamic team. You will support our production teams through troubleshooting and performing preventative maintenance on all machinery and equipment.
***This will be a 2nd shift opportunity***

This position is responsible for ensuring that all equipment and machinery are running efficiently, safely, and effectively. The ideal candidate must have experience in robotics, PLC, controls systems, Rockwell PLC, controls logics, Allen Bradley, SLC 500's, Servio Drives, VFD, and 6 Axis robotics.



Responsibilities:

• Perform regular maintenance and repair of equipment and machinery
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with equipment and machinery
• Implement preventative maintenance programs to ensure maximum efficiency and safety
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs
• Work with other departments to ensure that production goals are met
• Install new equipment and machinery as needed
• Train other technicians on equipment and machinery operation and maintenance
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Qualifications:

• Experience with robotics, PLC, controls systems, Rockwell PLC, controls logics, Allen Bradley, SLC 500's, Servio Drives, VFD, and 6 Axis robotics
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• High school diploma or equivalent required, technical degree preferred
