This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join a dynamic and fast-paced construction company. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the construction process, from planning and development to execution and completion. This role will involve working closely with a variety of stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and other team members, to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The successful candidate will have a strong background in construction management, particularly in the areas of glass installation and repair, both residential and commercial. Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of construction project management, from initial planning and development to execution and completion.
- Manage and coordinate the work of contractors and subcontractors, ensuring that all work is completed on time and to the highest quality standards.
- Work closely with clients to understand their needs and expectations, and ensure that these are met or exceeded.
- Develop and manage project budgets, and ensure that all work is completed within budget constraints.
- Handle contract management, including negotiating contracts with suppliers and contractors, and ensuring that all contracts are adhered to.
- Oversee the installation and repair of glass in both residential and commercial settings, ensuring that all work is completed safely and to the highest quality standards.
- Handle scheduling, ensuring that all projects are completed on time and that all team members are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
- Ensure that all work complies with relevant regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in construction project management, with a strong focus on glass installation and repair in both residential and commercial settings.
- A strong understanding of construction management principles and practices, including budgeting, contract management, and scheduling.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously and ensure that all are completed on time and within budget.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and other team members.
- A strong understanding of the principles and practices of glass installation and repair, including glazing and commercial and residential glazing.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
- Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to negotiate contracts effectively and ensure that all contracts are adhered to.
- A degree in construction management or a related field is preferred.
